Spotlight on data collection methods

The open access journal "Survey Research Methods" publishes peer-reviewed articles on data collection based on surveys. The idea is to make it easier for other researchers to initiate large projects by giving them free access to the articles.

Researchers often use surveys as a method of data collection. Depending on the field of research, however, both the survey and the analysis can be challenging. The open access journal "Survey Research Methods" reports on research into the further development of survey methods. The authors of the articles examine the most important sources of error and evaluate possible solutions.

"Survey Research Methods" is the official journal of the European Survey Research Association (ESRA). All published articles are peer-reviewed and focus in particular on data collection methods for large-scale surveys. Co-editors are political scientist Peter Selb and sociologist Sandra Walzenbach from the University of Konstanz.

The journal "Survey Research Methods" is available free of charge.
