The FabLab at the University of Konstanz is a workshop with various tools and digital production options that is available once a week for anyone to use. If you are interested, simply come to one of the regular introductory events and register as a user. You can get started straight away at many of the workstations after a short general safety briefing. For some machines, additional training is required.

In addition to a wide range of tools and materials for woodworking or electronics projects, the FabLab offers tools for digital production processes, e.g. several 3D printers, a CNC milling machine, a laser cutter and an entire "textile laboratory" with computer-controlled sewing and embroidery machines, a cutting plotter and a transfer moulding press for iron-on printing. A contact person is always on site to answer questions and provide assistance. All introductory courses and the use of the various tools are provided free of charge.
